  The Federated Garden Clubs of New York www.gardenclubs-of-nys.org is a charter member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., the largest gardening organization in the world. New York is a member of the Central Atlantic Region of NGC.
The FGCNYS is divided into 10 geographic Districts, each with a District Director, who serve with elected officers on the FGCNYS Executive Board. Appointed board members work to support the objectives of the organization.
The Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc., was founded in 1924 and incorporated in 1930 for the purpose of supporting the Garden Clubs of New York State. The FGCNYS presently includes 332 garden clubs with 11,814 members across the state.
